Hello Wyoming!
Are you tired of having to travel out of town or even out of state to experience thrilling entertainment? Well, I have some good news for you! My name is Nicholas R. Johnson, and I'm excited to announce the launch of Turn On The Dark Entertainment LLC, Casper's first-ever haunted attraction business, which will be located in the basement of "ART 321" in downtown Casper, Wyoming, and open on October 20th, 2023!
Growing up in Lusk, Wyoming, I learned to appreciate the art of theatre and storytelling, and Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Moving to Casper, Wyoming to attend Casper College was a dream come true, and it opened the doors for me to explore the world of professional events and entertainment.
Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of working with various companies and organizations, but my passion has always been in theatre. As a lighting designer and director with dual degrees in theatre performance and technical theatre, I've been fortunate to create unforgettable experiences for audiences throughout Casper. I've worked with Stage III Community Theatre, Opera Wyoming, Theatre of The Poor, and The Ford Wyoming Center. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with these wonderful organizations.
However, I'm ready to take my love for theatre and Halloween to the next level by creating something that's never been done before in Casper. Turn On The Dark Entertainment will be an immersive and interactive haunted attraction that will transport visitors to another world of terror and excitement.
Our Haunted Attraction will feature 75 double-sided reusable attraction panels, UV paint for a one-of-a-kind 3D experience, 3D glasses, blacklights, and special effects like fog, bubbles, and lasers. We're seeking $10,000 to bring this vision to life, and our crowdfunding campaign will run from June 1st to July 17th. We're offering exclusive rewards to our backers, including discounted attraction tickets, lifetime access passes, and other limited-edition merchandise. Our goal is to reach our funding goal by July 1st, 2023 so we can begin production this summer and have the attraction ready for opening night!
But it's not just about the attraction. Turn On The Dark Entertainment is about bringing people together and creating a destination for entertainment and thrill-seekers in Wyoming.
